Children need love. And every child needs a good education. In Europe, it seems natural that children get school education but in most african countries schooling seems a luxury.
Many poor families live far under their so-called subsistence level and cannot afford a school visit for their children. Education is expensive in school fees, school uniforms, shoes, books, and others. Many children from rural areas need to stay in a school hostel but that's also very expensive. Often only boys are send to school, while many parents say: "Girls get married anyway, so they don't need an education."

Every child has the right of education. That's our mission. Child-Care-Afrika supports single students and whole school classes with school material, books, and many more necessary things. And we also sponsor the building-up of school hostels for children from remote areas to help them get a chance of education.

Child-Care-Afrika supports mainly children form remote areas. Many of them lost their parents because of AIDS or their parents are unemployed and can't support their children.
Many of them sleep in cardboard boxes or ditches and search for food on rubbish heaps. Without our help they have nothing.

Some children from poor families visit a school but have to walk daily very long distances without even shoes. Others have to study with an empty stomach because there is no money for food during the day. In many of the schools are not enough school materials, books, pencils, or others.

With a school sponsorship you help in two ways:

1. You support and sponsor your personal school class. You get a photo of your school class and can get in personal contact with them at any time. Your school class writes to you twice a year about their school and families.
2. With your support of only 1,- Euro per day you help as well developing the children's environment and infrastructure of their area. Happy and healthy children can only grow up in a healthy and good environment.

How does a school sponsorship with Child-Care-Afrika work?

1. With Child-Care-Afrika you keep in direct contact with your school class. Together, we support children from poor areas WHO have no future without our help.
2. Child-Care-Afrika is always in direct contact with students, parents, and teachers.
3. We investigate where help is most needed and help unbureaucratic.
4. No child shall remain hungry, nor child shall remain without school education.
5. Child-Care-Afrika does not only help single children but assists groups of children in remote areas. As well we help developing their whole environment. That's why we bundle-up sponsorships to help in a future-orientated and long-term way. With the prospect to ensure freedom and independence for as many children as possible.
6. With your monthly contribution you support your school class and long-term orientated development aid programmes for a better environment and infrastructure.
7. Your school class regulary gets all needed support, such as school uniforms, shoes, school material, food and on top medical aid.
8. Child-Care-Afrika supports the construction and extension of school buildings and medical services.
9. The supported children are between six and fourteen years old.
