Witkop is a settlement about 170 km south of Windhoek you would not find in Google now. However there are living people and so many children who are in great need of our help. Those children are populating the hostel belonging to the school.
Thanks to such generous donations, special honour goes to Fjonas Family, we have been lucky of renovating this hostel finally which can accommodate about 80 children and is guided by Mister Cluete.

First of all we have been starting to restore the roof structure which is enduringly compact after all. Of course there are not much rainfalls here but once they are bursting in the hostel is just in no time uninhabitable. Then we overhauled all the electrical installations which are functioning optimal lastly and best of all they are safe!
We consumed 200 litres paint to colour the hostel nicely. Certainly we used washable colour being more expensive take notice of long-lasting value …
Our next working step was to refurbish the windows and the showers and last but not least we made a special surprise! For providing sleeping comfort we have been choosing colourful choisest mattresses and the children got truly raptured by them. To come to the point. 30 mattresses for 30 students are only the beginning… We had to sum up – the school urgently has to be modernized.

The school building consists of 3 rooms and is used for teaching 8 classes and you can imagine the tight situation taking even place in unsuitable entrance of the hostel out of necessity.
We calculated the budget which badly needs 15.000,- for building another class room and to arrange for seats, chairs and a black board as well. The students and the head of the school, Mister Mauton would be more than happy to get your support!
