Ondamekono is a small residential area in Ovitoto, an Herero tribe reservation in the heart of Namibia. Mister Kariko , the head of the tribe is living there with 35 families and about 1100 cattles. Every family counts about eight to ten family members and they indeed depend on there cattles the lifestock needs drinking water supply.
The Namibian government wich is our team-work underlined that the water well in Ondamekondo isn´t in such a good condition.

On site-inspection we found out that the old water-well had no function anymore as it was neccessary of drilling a depth of 50 metres into the ground. We arranged for this urgent need and made sure from now on water could be brought up at least by a manual pump.

With pleasure we are intending to get a water engine plant but the generator would cost almost 10.000,-.
